A redesign of Toyota’s best selling models is almost finished. We are talking about the brand new and improved 2017 Toyota Camry.

Toyota Automaker has decided to improve its best selling model and make it even more popular among costumers. Although, company didn’t reveal much about the brand new 2017 Toyota Camry, some information and details are already familiar. First of all, new Camry will be underpinned with a new platform. It is a Toyota New Global Architecture called TGNA platform. Because of this new architecture, Toyota will be slightly larger than its forerunner. It will have longer wheelbase which will provide more space inside. When it comes to exterior design, new Camry will look more elegant, attractive and luxurious than the current model. The most noticeable change will be a redesigned trapezoidal grille which will be wider now. Revised headlamps will give it more aggressive appearance. On the rear end, we will notice new taillights.

Inside the 2017 Toyota Camry we will see some design modifications and technology improvements. Like we have already said, the interior space will be increased, so we can expect more comfort for all the occupants. The cabin will be improved with quality materials and advanced tech features. 2017 Toyota Camry will be powered with several types of engines. The first option should be a 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbo engine. This unit will be able to make 235 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque. The next option could be a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine with the output of 178 horsepower. Latest rumors say that it should also be offered with a hybrid version. It will most likely be a 2.5-liter four-cylinder Atkinson-cycle Hybrid Synergy Drive system. As for the transmission, the engines will be coupled to a 6-speed automatic gearbox.

2017 Toyota Camry should be presented to the world later this year. It will probably be in late 2016. When it comes to the price, it should start at $30,000 for the base model. Higher trim levels will go up to $40,000.
