Automaker has decided to refresh the brand new 2017 Nissan Pathfinder in order to make it more competitive in its segment. It will offer a great interior space, refreshed exterior and quiet ride. It was caught during its testing and the spy photos can reveal some changes that this new model has undergone. It will represent the next generation model, so we can expect many changes. Unfortunately, many are still kept as a secret. When it comes to exterior redesign, latest rumors say that it will show many refreshments both on the front and rear end of the vehicle. Its design will be close to the style of Nissan Maxima design. The front end will feature a revised V-shaped grille trimmed with chrome. The headlamps are also expected to get a new more aggressive look. It will also get new bumper and refreshed tail lamps.

When it comes to interior design, official information is still not announced. However, the cabin is expected to be slightly redesigned and upgraded with new technology. The interior will be functional, spacious and comfortable. It will be able to welcome seven passengers in three rows of seats. When it comes to equipment, 2017 Nissan Pathfinder will come standard with sound system with six speakers, tri-zone climate control, alloy wheels etc. Higher trim levels will get Bluetooth, blind-spot monitoring, rear parking sensors, Bose audio system with 13 speakers, navigation, a rearview camera and so on.

Engine and performance

It is still not confirmed what type of engine will power 2017 Nissan Pathfinder. It will most likely be the engine which powers the current model. It is a 3.5-liter V6 engine. It is able to produce 260 horsepower and 240 pound-feet of torque. As for the transmission, it will be mated to a CVT. It will be offered with AWD and FWD as well. Some sources claim that it should also be offered with a hybrid version.

2017 Nissan Pathfinder will probably see the light of the day in late 2016 or maybe sometime during 2017. When it comes to pricing, the base model should cost around $30,000.
