Exterior design and improvements
The brand new 2017 GMC Terrain will represent the second generation model, so we can expect many upgrades. Some of the changes we’ll notice will be redesigned and more modern exterior and interior, and advanced technology. It will be underpinned with a new GMs platform called D2XX architecture, also used in Chevy Volt, Buick Envision, Chevy Cruze and others. Because of this new, highly modular platform, new Terrain is expected to be lighter for around 200 pounds. This will surely improve fuel economy and general performance of the vehicle.
