Buick has finally decided to launch the brand new 2017 Buick Enclave after eight years of selling the first generation model. So, new Buick will represent the second generation model. It will hit the scene with many interesting changes. It will ride on a new platform, it will get a complete redesign inside and out and advanced powertrain options. It will be underpinned on GM’s new C1XX platform which will also underpin the next generation 2017 Chevrolet Traverse, 2017 GMC Acadia and 2017 Cadillac XT5. With this long-wheelbase architecture, automaker managed to make it lighter for around 300 pounds. This will improve fuel efficiency, handling and general performance of the vehicle. As for the exterior, it will be inspired by Buick’s latest design language. It will look very attractive, powerful and will definitively draw attention worldwide.

Inside, 2017 Buick Enclave will be redesigned and upgraded with some new features. The cabin will be made of high quality materials. New Enclave will be more space efficient than the current model, so we can expect roomier cabin. It will be even more comfortable as well and it will have three rows of seats. It will feature latest IntelliLink infotainment system and many others safety and driver assistance systems.
Engine and transmission
Latest news says that the new 2017 Buick Enclave will be powered with new engines. The one option is a 3.6-liter V6 LGX engine. The second option will be a 3.0-liter V6 twin-turbo LGW engine. This engine will be more powerful than the first one. The engines will be coupled to an eight-speed or a nine-speed automatic gearbox.
Release date and expected price
It is still not confirmed when 2017 Buick Enclave will see the light of the day. It is expected to be later this year, most likely in late 2016. When it comes to pricing, its price should be definitively higher than the price of its forerunner. We assume that it should be around $40,000.
