Engine and horsepower
2016 Toyota Highlander will be power with several types of engine. The base is a 2.7-liter four-cylinder engine. It will be able to produce 185 horsepower and 184 pound-feet of torque. The second option is a 3.5-liter V6. This engine will make 270 horsepower and 248 pound-feet of torque. Engines will be paired with a 6-speed automatic gearbox. It will also appear with hybrid engine. It will be 3.5-liter V6 combined with three electric motors. This one will be able to deliver 280 horsepower. Hybrid version will be mated to CVT.
Release date and price
2016 Toyota Highlander should go on sale in late 2015 or in the beginning of 2016. Speaking of the price, it should start at $30,000 and it will go up to $45,000.
