2016 Nissan Titan has been present on US market for twenty years and it is one of the oldest full-size pickups. Now it comes with mayor changes.

2016 Nissan Titan will get a new bold design and it will be larger than its predecessors. It will be lighter since lightweight materials will be used in its design but stronger than before. The now body line will lead to improved aerodynamics. Also, it will receive roof, front and tailgate spoilers which will make it better air resistant. Front end will have a new mesh grille and a pair of headlights which will be rectangular. LED headlamps will be optional. There will be a choice between 17, 18, and 20-inch wheels. The great towing capacity will be even more increased since it will have bigger trailer.

The interior of 2016 Nissan Titan will be restyled and modernized as well. The seats will be extra cozy and upholstered in leather, which will be an option or high quality fabric. Another option is heated and ventilated front seats which will provide extra comfort.  Generally it will be more spacious inside. As for the equipment, it will also show innovations. Many infotainment and safety features will be included: multi functional display, eight speaker audio system, navigation, cruise control, air conditioning, a rearview camera, parking sensors on the front and the rear end, blind-spot monitors and many others.

Engines and performances

It is most likely that the new 2016 Nissan Titan will have three different power units. It will have under the hood V-6 engine for the first time.  The Cummins 5.0-liter turbo diesel V-8 engine will also be available which can make more than 300 horsepower and around 500 pound-feet of torque. The other engine is a 5.6-liter V-8 gas engine with the output of 317 horsepower and the torque of 385 pound-feet. It will be more fuel efficient which is an important fact.

Release date and price

As for the release date of 2016 Nissan Titan, it should appear on sale this summer. Speaking of the price, nothing is yet confirmed, but we assume that it could be around $31,000 for the base model.
