Honda is soon launching its new model-a brand new 2016 Honda HR-V. It is a small crossover which will surprise us all with its great design.

2016 Honda HR-V is a brand new Japanese vehicle. At first sight, It will look very similar to the CR-V model but like its smaller version. It will be underpinned with a larger version of the Fit platform . It will be 169.1 inches long and 69.8 inches wide. It will be offered in following trims: LX, EX and EX-L. Speaking of the exterior design, it will look very attractive. It will be a combination of sporty and elegant. The whole body will be a mixture of curves and angles. The front end of the vehicle will look pretty much as the one of CR-V model especially grille and lights. Grille will be small and elegant and headlamps will be long, angular and nicely shaped. They will use LED technology which will provide excellent visibility. It will get 17-inch wheels as well.
Design of interior and features
The interior of 2016 Honda HR-V will get better materials and nicer details. It will be quieter because of the noise insulation. The cabin will be able to accommodate five passengers. There will be more headroom, and the back seats can fold flat. 2016 Honda HR-V will get a 5.0-inch color touchscreen on the center of the dash. As for the equipment, 2016 Honda HR-V will be very modern. Standard features will be AM/FM/CD audio with USB port, Bluetooth, steering-wheel with audio controls, a rearview camera, cruise control etc. Higher trims will get a 7.0-inch touchscreen, Pandora audio, automatic climate controls, a power sunroof, navigation, leather seats and many more.

Engine, transmission and fuel economy
Under the hood of 2016 Honda HR-V will be, most likely, placed one engine option. It is a 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine. This engine is able to make 141 horsepower and 127 pound-feet of torque. It will be mated to a CVT or a six-speed manual transmission. The manual will be only offered with front-wheel-drive models. However, new Honda will be available with all-wheel drive as well. It should get the acceleration from 0 to 60 mph in around eight seconds. As for the fuel consumption, it is estimated to be 28 mpg city, 35 mpg highway, and 31 mpg combined with CVT and front-wheel drive. These numbers for all-wheel drive are 27/32/29 mpg. With a six-speed manual and front-wheel drive, fuel consumption is estimated to be 25 mpg in the city, 34 mpg on the highway, and 28 mpg combined.
Release date and price
2016 Honda HR-V should go on sale sometime during this year, probably in the end of 2015. S As for the price, it should be around $20,000 and it will go up to $25,000.
