Honda is once again revealing its famous luxury SUV. It is a 2016 Acura MDX which will impress us all with its design and improvements.
Exterior design and improvements
This famous mid-size crossover was firstly introduced in 2000. , and since then it has always been rated as one in the top of its class. It is luxurious and practical vehicle which has shown great possibilities even for off road driving. Now, it will appear even better in many segments. Since carbon fiber, steel, aluminum are used in its construction, it will be much lighter which will improve performance and aerodynamic. It will be easy to handle and maneuver. Speaking of the exterior look of 2016 Acura MDX, it will be very similar to the current model. However, it will undergo some small but noticeable modifications. On the front end we will see redesigned grille decorated with chrome. The jewel-eyed headlights will be slightly refreshed and will be equipped with LED lights. They will give the whole body more elegant look.

MDX is considered as one of the roomiest crossovers with three rows of seats. And 2016 Acura MDX will keep that reputation. Families will adore it with no doubt. The interior will be improved and upgraded with new materials and features. The cabin will be quiet and very comfortable. The seats will be easy fold, and second and third row will be more spacious. It will be able to place seven passengers. As for the tech features, it will be equipped with automatic climate control, Adaptive Cruise Control, audio system, Multi-view rear camera, USB etc.
Engine and transmission
2016 Acura MDX will have one engine option. It is a 3.5-liter V6 engine with direct injection. It can produce 290 horsepower and 267 lb-ft of torque. It will be mated to a new nine-speed automatic gearbox. The power will be sent to all wheels. Estimated fuel consumption is 18/26 in the city/highway drive. Front-wheel drive will be optional.
Release date and price
We are hoping to see 2016 Acura MDX on sale, sometime during this year, perhaps in late 2015. As for the price, it will be in a range from $43,000-$55,000 depending on equipment.
